ADA Motor Show ready to roll

Car enthusiasts and potential buyers will once again get a first hand opportunity to experience the latest technologies and models available in Jamaica when the highly anticipated Automobile Dealers Association (ADA) Motor Show rolls into the National Arena from November 23 to 25, 2007.

For three pulsating days, car dealers, tyre distributors, car paint specialists and financial institutions will showcase their services and products to the over 20,000 patrons who are expected to converge on the venue.

This may come as a surprise to many, but the ADA Motor Show has been around since 1965 and has been staged every two years since then. The ADA consists of 22 members from Jamaica's new car industry and was basically established to serve the interest of the sector. It is served by an active board of directors and is chaired by Kent LaCroix.

LaCroix, who also acts as the event's chief organiser, is anticipating another successful staging of the show. He has guaranteed the participation of all of the island's top dealership and industry players.

"This motor show provides a medium for the dealers to showcase their new models and also for all the other participants, such as the insurance companies, banking institutions, paint companies and all the other companies that are allied to the automotive industry, to highlight their products and services," said LaCroix.

All of the top manufacturers and models will be represented and patrons can look forward to experiencing the newest releases of some of the most popular vehicles. Howard Foster, Marketing Manager at Toyota Jamaica, can hardly wait to showcase the newest version of the ever-popular Land Cruiser 200 series and Corolla.
