What is proper post-sex etiquette? This is a question that is always seemingly left unanswered. Should I stay or should I go?

The first complaint many women have is that men fall asleep after sex. This can leave many women feeling understandably insecure as the desire to be held, shows some appreciation that the act was just as enjoyable for him and that he recognises the intimacy of it. But ladies, this is edumacation time!

As a woman, if you say you are single, you get responses ranging from 'Nice girl like you, how yu nuh have nobody?' to 'Beg yu di work nuh?' Who says being single has to mean you are on the verge of jumping off a bridge? It's different for men as they get cool titles like 'bachelor', 'playboy' and 'dads' implying a carefree lifestyle. Women get names like 'old maid' and 'spinster', which conjures up images of an old lady sitting in a rocking chair with half moon glasses at the tip of her nose, knitting. Some go as far as to say that you are probably a lesbian if you don't have a man. If you're fed up with the stigma attached to these labels, start holding your head up high.

If you are single because you've recently split up with your partner, think of it as something to celebrate - that a wealth of new opportunites lie ahead. After the 'crust' of love has fallen from your eyes, you'll probably question what you first saw in this person anyway and hopefully be able to laugh at yourself.
