Mikey Spice –
Still Practising What He Preaches
In the early to mid 1990s, the resonant and dulcet tones of Mikey Spice graced the Jamaican airwaves, signalling the rise of a recording artiste whose expression is seeped in soul, love and righteousness.

Omar Reid –
Moving People With Reggae Music
Music has long been a creative outlet for many young Jamaicans and Omar Reid is next in line to explode from Jamaica’s musical platform.
Omar credits his taste in, and love for music to his uncle, Desmond “Desi Roots” Young, former lead singer of the 809 Band and the current president of the Jamaica Federation of Musicians (JFM).
“I use to see him going on tour and he use to carry me to his rehearsals and some of his stage shows and even dances,” stated Omar. However, the biggest impact on his life came when his uncle returned home with a video tape of Motown’s 25th anniversary, on which he witnessed Michael Jackson performing for the very first time. “After I saw Michael Jackson perform I said ‘yes I definitely have to sing’.”

Jarvis Church –
The Long Way Home
Not many people can find their way back home, or care to, after they’ve explored the world. But Jarvis Church isn’t your ordinary fellow. The Jamaican-born singer/producer says he has travelled full circle in his life and music, and hammered it into his upcoming solo album appropriately entitled “The Long Way Home”.
Jarvis is one of those men who, despite his tattoos, ragged jeans and all of that “macho” stuff, still manages to retain his creative dexterity. He writes, sings and produces for himself and other artistes.
This all-rounder was born Gerald Eaton in Mona, St. Andrew, but grew up in the Hope Road area, also in St. Andrew.

Secrets –
a must see!
We all have secrets - things we’d rather no one know about us or our past. But the difference between a few white lies and a closet full of skeletons is huge. What would most of us do if confronted? Could we handle the world knowing our deepest, darkest secrets?
Well, Karl Hart put his own spin on the topic of secrets and dirty laundry when he penned and produced “Secrets”, the hit drama currently playing at the Pantry Play House. Directed by Karl Williams, “Secrets” examines what happens when one gets too comfortable living a façade for years. The longer it is maintained, the harder it is for the person to come clean. Additionally, the damage is likely to be greater when all is exposed.
