Dumb driving –
That drives you crazy

Bleary-eyed and very much late for your morning meeting, the traffic light goes on red as you’re about to go through. You impatiently tap your fingers on the steering wheel, then take a quick glance at your watch and…screech! A battered white “deportee” taxi with smoke billowing from its exhaust and five passengers squeezed up inside comes braking hard and swings just in front of you. The smell of burning tyres on the road is the perfect “coffee” to fully wake you up.

The above scene is one that many of us endure daily on the Jamaican roads. Bad driving habits are ingrained in many of us, although some drivers blatantly exhibit theirs. When someone cuts right in front of you without signalling, the probability of a fender bender occurring is very high.
