“Boy, have I come a looooooong way!” sighed Tahnida Nunes as she reflected on her rise at Digicel from a Customer Care Agent in October 2001 to the current Executive Producer for the Digicel Rising Stars television programme.

She recalls sitting at her desk one day when the Head of Customer Care came up to her and said, “I have the perfect job for you.” The perfect job was being an assistant to the then Executive Producer of Rising Stars. After working a full year as an assistant, Tahnida was promoted to Marketing Executive, and after two years, to Executive Producer. Her job, she says, now incorporates all her previous positions.

“The major difference is that now I am involved at a strategic level. I sign the cheques… hahaha!!!” she exclaimed.
