How important is the Ring?

It’s the stuff that romance movies are made of, that fairy tales are based on, that Mills and Boon books gush over and what our mothers all want to help plan: our wedding.

It is that special day when we wish the gown to be perfect, the groom dashing, the cake delicious, the ceremony tasteful and the ring flawless. Yes, the ring has to be flawless for what else does the bride have to show off to her friends and co-workers after the ceremony and the honeymoon is over.

Many millennium women and career driven lasses may disagree about most women wanting to eventually settle down and have the two children, the dog and the white picket fence, but deep down, most do want to tie the knot or jump the broom with the man of their dreams. And after the ceremony is over, decorations are cleared and the bills are (hopefully) all paid, there are two things left to symbolize your new status – the title of ‘Mrs’ and that little rock adorning your finger.

The Effect of Children on your Sex Life

Children are special. They are a bundle of joy and a sight to behold. Many people want to have children but fear it will affect their beautiful figure or put a wrench in their sex life. Couples should try to understand that during and after pregnancy things cannot be the same in terms of body, mind and soul.

7 ways to know if she is good in bed

I have always watched the way a woman moves her body on a dance floor or the way she walks or talks, as gauges to conclude that she would satisfy and fulfill me in bed among other things.

Buzzz Magazine took to the streets recently to get seven signs from 7 different persons about how they know a woman is good in bed, we were not a bit surprised at the differences and the range of responses we got. So here are 7 different ways 6 men and 1 woman say they know a woman is good in bed.

Mark Myrie:

If I meet a girl who is intelligent who has a healthy uninhibited interest and attitude to sex that is usually a good sign that she is good in bed – and I use bed here proverbially -because it means she can intellectualise what she does and she understands that sex is an engagement of the mind and body.

Tanisha Fagan (bi-sexual female):

I take note of how she handles her food. I watch how she uses her fork. Does she enjoy things? Is she sensuous? Is she poky and grabby? If she eats slowly, takes time to suck on her bones, make watching her eat a treat...

Swinging (wife/partner swapping) has probably gone on since the beginning of time. Many cultures hold no stigma to the sharing of married partners, the Inuit tribes of Alaska and northern regions of Canada and some African Tribes being a few examples.

Unlike the puritanical Christian missionaries who came in contact with the Inuit tribes and who had an aversion to wife swapping, it was a religious and highly respected practice among the Inuits. There were several contexts in which a husband would let another man sleep with his wife. The most widespread was ritual spouse exchange, practiced in one form or another in every region where Inuits (Eskimos) lived, from eastern Greenland to the Bering Sea. This sort of spouse exchange was always associated with a religious purpose, and was always done at the instigation of an angekok (shaman). Often the point was to cause some desired outcome, such as better weather or hunting conditions.
