Hot Hair For Hot Months 'A-Head'

Summer is upon us, and this year seems to be hotter than ever. To save ourselves from having to chop all our locks off, here are some simple ideas that will keep us looking ‘hot’, while we try to keep our ‘cool’.

Let Your Curls and Waves Flow Free

Embrace your curls like singers Irie Love and Ce’CIle. We know that humidity may cause frizzing, but you can avoid this by simply adding an anti-frizz serum to your morning hair routine. Gently ‘scrunch’ the hair while blow drying on low with a diffuser. A helpful tip: Don't comb it out! Instead let it be natural and sexy.

Try a Braid

Braids will always hold better and longer if you start out with your hair wet. If your hair is on the longer side, try a traditional French braid. For a new twist on braids, make a side part, and braid only a front section of your hair, pulling everything back afterwards.
