They attend meetings and work in the office on various projects to generate income but at the end of the day they leave for the same abode, curl up on the sofa and pick out a good movie to watch together. They’re business partners who happen to be happily married. We’ve heard the adage, ‘don’t mix business with pleasure’ and very few couples have successfully made that transition from just being together to being joint business owners with an established office, staff and maintaining a professional tone that doesn’t divulge personal matters to customers or ‘company’. It must be a challenging task to separate professional responsibilities from pillow talk, however taking this step with your partner has several benefits.
Jennifer ‘Jenny Jenny’ Small, popular radio and television host and hubby Richard Graham have been partners for some sixteen years and decided to go into business together in the early part of the millennium and eight years ago made the company official. They have worked assiduously over the years on projects such as: ‘Colour Me Father’, ‘Rebel Salute’, ‘Tastee Jamaica’, the ongoing Wyndham Karaoke, however, they’re probably best known for the mega television series that has everyone not only talking but dancing as well: ‘Dancing Dynamites’.

So we chase them down, collar them, leash them and hopefully muzzle them before we clean them up and later present them to the world as new and reformed. A little stint at obedience school wouldn’t hurt but normally we do not get them to sit still that long so we make do with what we can accomplish and hope all we have done is enough to keep their noses clean and their wayward ways behind them.
These ‘dogs’ or former players are our works in progress that we ‘rescued’ but realistically will the new sheen and new attitude that have been drilled into their heads last?
Or as the saying goes can we really teach these ole’ dogs new tricks?
